To attract the attention of buyers, you need to constantly come up with something new. So Coach decided to send their bags, from the male line, to walk the streets of New York.
The result is great: bright accessories and their cool design perfectly fit into the urban landscape. The maker of the photographs was Jake Rosenberg and  is part of creative team of one of my favorite websites The Coveteur.

Perfect start

Last night I went to bed quite on time, so I woke up this morning - early - by the birds singing in my garden and I was completely awake. Showered, got dressed and went to Schiphol Airport - quite near my home approx. 15 min. drive by car. I love going there, drinking a good Starbucks cappuchino and watching people arriving and going to their destinations while the rest of the world is waking up. Also the stores at the airport never seem to close, so I got my Vogue Paris with Doutzen on the cover, which is available today in the news stands. Emmanuelle performed again: love the denim special and the interview with Francis Ford Coppola about his new movie Twixt. All together it is the perfect start of a friday morning, now back to my home office and do some work :)

Dior

Assouline Publishing announced the release of a real collector's itme: a set of three historical books, "the Dior gift box".

It includes Dior Fashion - 80 pages of the history of haute couture, as embodied in clothing, haute couture; Dior Perfume - Perfume evolution of the fashion house, and Dior Fine Jewellery - the album is incredibly beautiful jewelry by Christian Dior.

Each photo shows a certain stage of development of the fashion house, but it's not just a story of one brand - the story itself is one of high fashion,given to us, year after year, by Dior. The world of sophistication and elegance, the expression of the French tradition of haute couture - and this kind of fashion is called an art.

The contribution of Christian Dior in the haute couture is difficult to overestimate. The pages of these three books, albums may find their inspiration artists, designers, musicians and actors, in fact, looking at them, you feel involved in the complex and incomprehensible, but very attractive world of high fashion.

Modern Preppy & Gwyneth Paltrow

Swedish clothing brand Lindex invited actress Gwyneth Paltrow to become the face of its spring collection Modern Preppy. She took part in the shooting of the new campaign and to create promotional videos. This ended up being a perfect collaboration: the radiant, cheerful Paltrow fully embodies the mood represented by the collection, which is dominated by a simple but brilliant things. Gwyneth makes uch basic wardrobe items, like the striped dresses, one-color sweaters, trousers and skirts plain mat. Surgery to look more interesting. Gwyneth, by the way, is not the first "Star" person for Lindex - the past was represented by a collection of stamps known actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
